To make a great beer like Boldwin, you need a great team! We are passionate people who've joined our efforts together to bring you the best possible beer. We're a little crazy, but we like it that way… What we love most of all is having fun!
My career path is filled with all the things I’m passionate about. I started off as an airplane pilot—a job where laborious training and rigorous daily tasks are needed to create that sense of freedom you get from flying. It’s a lot like brewing beer, where hard work and constant learning, the minutia of daily tasks, discipline, discovery, and innovation all come together. I love to steer the brewery’s operations with the same leadership you need to fly an aircraft.
Brewing beer that’s completely organic is a huge challenge for a brewer, but it’s immensely gratifying. Reducing our footprint on the environment is something everyone should strive for.
IPAs are a classic must-have and always a pleasure to discover. If I had to pick one beer? That’s hard. But the Weizendoppelbock Schneider Weisse Aventinus is the epitome of its kind.“The only limit to our realization of tomorrow will be our doubts of today."- Franklin D. Roosevelt, in a message for Jefferson Day, April 13, 1945
My role is to create a connection between our beer drinkers, our products and our philosophy. I make sure that our beer drinkers are part of Boldwin and our DNA. I want to do things differently and incite a reaction.
See more young people and new ideas! For many years, I was involved with the Fondation du Centre jeunesse de Montréal, because I really believe young people are the future. If we want society to change, we need to support and love its youngest members.
I’m not a one-beer man. It all depends on the circumstances. But I admit that a British-style beer that’s not too heavy and just the right amount of bitter makes me very happy."There's room for everyone!"
More than anything else, I’m a passionate person. I’m passionate about food and beverages, meeting clients and travel. I’m curious by nature and love finding out about new foodie trends, technology and marketing. Sports is what keeps me balanced physically and mentally. But I’m not competitive by nature… ah, who am I kidding, I am!
Distribute resources in a more equitable way. A little more balance wouldn’t hurt…
I’m a seasonal kind of person and I love to try new products. But the last beer I really fell for was a 2016 Framboëse draft beer from Auval brewery."Hope for the best, but plan for the worst" A great tip when planning events!
